Traditional Talking Therapy 

In your own time, Kate will help you to understand what has been going on for you and unravel some of your longstanding thought processes and core beliefs.  Using a combination of strategies, she will help you to understand ways of managing differently and challenging some of the thought processes along the way.  Kate will also help you understand your body responses with her knowledge of neuroscience and the brain, helping you to work 'with' your anxiety or panic etc, rather than 'against' it.

Sometimes it is necessary to go back and look at what has happened to us in the past in order to free us to move forward in a different way.  Kate has a vast experience of working at a deep level and understands the huge impact trauma has on our mind and body.  This can feel really daunting at first and Kate always welcomes your questions  and challenges around this and the psychotherapy process.  After all, working together is key and Kate will value and pay attention to the healing relationship between us at all times.

Kate works from her purpose built shepherd's hut set in a private and tranquil wooded area with Kate's animals nearby.  There is parking nearby and a compost toilet.
